CAMP BLUE NORTH SYDNEY

Camp Blue North Sydney operates from the school grounds of Monte St Angelo Mercy College through each school holiday period for a select number of weeks.

Activities change seasonally, utilizing the exceptional school facilities such as an indoor 25m pool, large sports hall, tennis courts and fully equipped service kitchen; packing 5 periods of fun into each day!

Our dedicated and experienced staff ensure the needs and abilities of all campers can be supported in the most fun and dynamic environment possible.

Our North Sydney Camp offers program bursting with variety, fun and accessibility; one that your camper will certainly not forget in a hurry!

Our partnership with ‘Get Kids Cooking’ ensures our cooking program is packed with outstanding recipes, getting kids to prepare, cook and create, healthy options that they can share with all the family

CHESS

Campers learn skills relevant to their current ability in the game, whether they are first time players or competitive Chess masters. Campers learn about rules, strategy and sportsmanship throughout the week, playing for points throughout the week based on their improvements, number of wins, attitude, and most importantly… their Chess Name. They will be positively chess-static to join!

READING AND WRITING

A number of great activities such as Book Club, where campers can borrow or bring in their favourite story books to share with other campers and counsellors; script-writing – creating play-scripts for the drama groups… Or even creative writing, where campers create their own story book to edit and illustrate over the week. These activities give campers the opportunity to be creative in a peaceful and encouraging environment

Changing throughout the seasons, Camp Blue North Sydney offers a great range of sports each camp such as: Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Netball, Cricket… The list goes on! Campers focus on learning a variety of skills throughout the week to improve their overall competencies and game play, with a fun campers vs. counsellors match frequently played at the end of each week

Makerspace knows no boundaries! A place where children come together to up-cycle, recycle and learn about using different materials to create new and exciting projects. This practical play-based learning enables a much more hands on approach to learning outside of the classroom.

ARTS AND CRAFTS

Get creative in our arts and crafts program! With a number of different art projects throughout the week, campers create beautiful pieces that they can take home at the end of the week.

MEDIA, DRAMA AND DANCE

From our Glee music video, to West End Production, Drama classes, Zumba, Hip Hop and many more! Each camp session see’s a different spectrum of performing arts and dance activities for campers of all ages and abilities to enjoy. Activities such as newsroom studio, photography, and video editing, give campers the opportunity delve into a the world of media and get creative.

WATER ACTIVITIES

Our North Sydney Program utilizes the incredible pool facility, offering swimming lessons to campers of all ages and abilities. For our older campers, they have the option to engage in beginners Synchro sessions or even Aqua Games where they can play a number of water based games and sports each day

Camp Blue is a fully accredited program, so families (if eligible) are entitled to CCB/CCR payments
